| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Move driver seat to end position toward rear | ||
| 2 | Release engine hood release lever (3) and guide toward inside through cover (1). | ||
| 3 | Remove bolts (4) | ||
| 4 | Unclip expansion clips (5) | ||
| 5 | Lower cover (1) and disconnect electrical connector from left front footwell lamp (E17/16) | ||
| 6 | Release data link connector (X11/4) and remove from cover (1) | ||
| 7 | Unclip CAN distributor bracket (6) and guide toward inside through cover (1) | ||
| 8 | Remove cover (1) out of the footwell | ||
| 9.1 | Unclip CAN distributor bracket (6) from new cover (1) | When replacing cover (1). | |
| 10 | Install in the reverse order |
