Remove/install Parktronic system (PTS) control unit - AR54.65-P-0006SC

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
NOTES Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1.1 Buffer basic data of the PTS control unit (N62) in STAR DIAGNOSIS When installing new Parktronic control unit (N62).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Transfer the temporarily stored basic data to the new Parktronic control unit (N62).
 
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
    STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system *WE58.40-Z-1013-06A 
2 Switch off ignition and withdraw transmitter key or Keyless Go start/stop button from the EIS [EZS] control unit IMPORTANT Keyless Go start/stop button only for vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go.  
3 Remove spare tire well panel, loosen panel in side of luggage compartment and move to one side until PTS control unit (N62) is accessible   AR68.30-P-4600SX
4 Undo nut (1), unscrew nut (2), remove bracket (3) and place to one side with lines still attached    
5 Separate electrical connectors on the PTS control unit (N62)    
6 Remove PTS control unit (N62)    
7 Install in the reverse order
