	Risk of injury caused by moving parts that can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities  .	Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of explosion  caused by welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant.	Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. 2.2	Install test adapter	Model 169.0/3, 245.2, 240 rear A/C Install test adapter in place of expansion valve with new sealing rings (2, 6). Moisten thread and sealing rings (2, 6) with compressor oil.

3	Connect test equipment to adapter (1) or test adapter.
4	Check evaporator for leaks	Fill system with a system pressure of 15 bar. Pressure must be maintained for at least 4 hours. Temperature changes during the pressure test may cause pressure surges, e.g. due to weather changes or overnight cooling of the engine compartment. Make sure the ambient conditions remain constant. With negative findings: Replace evaporator, see: ↓ Remove/install evaporator
