Affix felt tape (18) to iPod interface (1), as shown.
The connector (arrow) for the iPod wiring harness is located at the top right.
Align two Velcro strips (17) centrally to each other and press together.
Detach protective foil on one side and stick Velcro strips (17), as shown, onto iPod interface (1).

Place glove box into front passenger footwell.
Connect black coupling (9) of iPod wiring harness to iPod interface (1).
Connect black 18-pin coupling (6) to iPod interface (1).
Connect white 2-pin coupling (11) on wiring harness for iPod (8) to white 2-pin plug (7) on wiring harness for iPod interface (2) and fasten, as shown, using felt tape to iPod interface (1).

Fold insulation material (4) on inside of side piece (5) to one side.
Clean bonding surfaces on inside of side piece (5).
The bonding surfaces must be dry and free of grease and dust.
Detach protective foils for Velcro strips on iPod interface (1).
Position iPod interface (1), as shown, on the inside of the side piece (5), press on firmly and fold back insulation material (4).
Make sure that the wiring harnesses routed into the working area are not kinked or crushed.
