Remove/install instrument cluster - AR54.30-P-6015SX

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1.1 Store basic data from instrument cluster (A1) temporarily in STAR DIAGNOSIS When installing new instrument cluster (A1).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Transfer the cached basic data to the new instrument cluster (A1).
 
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
    STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system *WH58.30-Z-1048-13A 
2 Move steering column back and down    
3 Switch off ignition and withdraw transmitter key or Keyless Go start/stop button from the EIS [EZS] control unit IMPORTANT Keyless Go start/stop button only for vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go.  
4 In working area, cover trim strip on instrument panel with clean rag    
5 Remove cockpit switch group   AR54.25-P-1000SX 
6 Unclip covering (1) on instrument cluster (A1) SPECIAL TOOL Figure
7 Remove bolts (2), remove instrument cluster (A1) from instrument panel and disconnect electrical connector at rear    
NOTES Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
8 Install in the reverse order
