	Remove/install
		The operation described in the following is on one side of the vehicle but has to be carried out on both sides of the vehicle.
		The basic/filler materials from the paint partners approved in the warranty systems should be used. The processing guidelines and product notes should be complied with corresponding to the manufacturer's specification. see intranet "After Sales paint technology" http://paintmanual.daimlerchrysler.com or see internet "OPEN-AFTER-SALES" http://open.aftersales.daimler.com
1	Open rear-end door
2	Remove rear lamp
3	Remove sealing seam above rear lamp from the joint up to a height of approx 20 cm (dimension A).	Mask off adjacent paint surface with double fabric tape to avoid damage.
4	Remove existing corrosion in the joint.	Should the corrosion extend even higher than was previously exposed, remove the sealing seam from the joint up to approx. 5 cm beyond the end of the corrosion.
5	Clean the joint
6	Remove fabric tape and mask off exposed joint again using masking tape
7	Prime the joint
8	Replace masking tape
9	Cover joint with a new sealing seam and model at the same time	Draw in the sealing seam up to the cutout for the rear lamp (arrow).
10	Install rear lamp
