	Remove/install
1	Open retractable trunk partition	See Operating Instructions
2	Remove spare wheel well (2) from trunk
3.1	Remove left and right expansion clip (5) from navigation processor paneling (4) and remove navigation processor paneling (4)	On vehicles with code (527a) COMAND APS (with navigation) or code (498) Japanese version Installation:  Replace damaged expansion clips (5).
4	Remove expansion clips (3)	Installation:  Replace damaged expansion clips (3).
5	Loosen bottom center trunk paneling (1) from guides (arrows) and pull toward rear	Installation:  Ensure that bottom trunk center paneling (1) is seated properly in guides (arrows).
6	Remove bottom center trunk paneling (1) from trunk
7	Install in the reverse sequence
