	Remove/Install
	Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning  caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury  to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel.	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.	-
1.1	Close Vario roof	With Vario roof open. M3 The fuel pump can only be removed when the Vario roof is closed.
2	Empty fuel tank		AR47.10-P-4001V
		Fuel tank capacity	*BF47.10-P-1001-01A
3	Remove top fuel tank cover		AR64.20-P-1080V
4	Remove fuel filter		AR47.20-P-5510V
5	Remove fuel level sensor		AR47.10-P-7000V
6	Press together snap-in bracket and pull out electrical connector (1) toward bottom
7	Twist the rotary valve (2) in direction of the arrow and take out the fuel pump (M3) in the upward direction	Electrical lines and fuel lines are connected with tie straps. Slacken tie strap and take out. Installation:  Install new tie straps.
8	Install in the reverse order
