Repairing wiring harness using solder connectors

On seat side:

1. Cut cable off approx. 100 mm downstream of connector.
2. Shorten spaghetti by approx. 50 mm as of separation point.
3. Carefully slit remaining spaghetti approx. 30 mm in direction of FSS.
4. Remove approx. 15 mm of insulation from both cables.
5. Install solder connector.
6. Twist strands of two cable ends together.
7. Position solder connector in center and shrink with hot air blower (soldering).
8. Slide spaghetti approx. 50 mm over solder connector and slit spaghetti.
9. Wrap textile strap around free area up to coupling.
10. Fasten tieout to vacuum line in area of solder connector with adhesive tape.
