Reduce fuel pressure through service valve - AR07.03-P-1460-01RMG (SL63 AMG)

DANGER Risk of explosion caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel and risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Only pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel. AS47.00-Z-0001-01A

  1. Unscrew protective cap (1) on fuel distributor service valve.
  2. Insert end of CAUTION pressure hose (01) into a suitable container.
  3. Screw union nut from angled piece (01a) onto service valve.

    IMPORTANT At this point, the service valve is opened and the fuel pressure in the fuel distributor is reduced.

    IMPORTANT Collect feathering-out fuel in a suitable reservoir (3)

  4. Unscrew the union nut of the angled piece (01a) from the service valve.
  5. Screw protective cap (1) onto service valve for fuel distributor.
