Remove/install tumble flap and resonance flap switchover valve to intake manifold - AR09.20-P-1990RX (SL550)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Turn key in ignition lock to position "0" On vehicles with code (889), Keyless-Go: Press Keyless-Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove the Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter (min. 2 m).  
2 Remove air filter housing   AR09.10-P-1150RX 
3 Remove intake manifold (5)   AR09.20-P-1961RX 
  Variable intake manifold switchover valve (Y22/6)     
4 Detach pneumatic lines (1) from variable intake manifold switchover valve (Y22/6)    
5 Remove lock washer (3) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Replace lock washer (3).  
6 Disconnect the electrical connector (X205) at the variable intake manifold switchover valve (Y22/6)    
7 Remove variable intake manifold switchover valve (Y22/6) from intake manifold (5)    
  Intake manifold tumble flap switchover valve (Y22/9)     
8 Detach the pneumatic lines (2) from the intake manifold tumble flap switchover valve (Y22/9)    
9 Remove lock washer (4) Installation:  Replace lock washer (4).  
10 Remove electrical connector (X205) at the intake manifold tumble flap switchover valve (Y22/9)    
11 Detach intake manifold tumble flap switchover valve (Y22/9) from intake manifold (5)    
12 Install in the reverse order    
DANGER Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

13 Carry out an engine test run and check intake tract and fuel system for leaks
