REPAIR MATERIALS

BR00.45-Z-1001-07A Zinc dust paint suitable for spot welding A 000 986 34 42
  1. Separate deformed detachable body components in area (cutting line) with body saw.
  2. Expose spot welds (areas A, B and C).
  3. Cut spot welds out with SPECIAL TOOL spot weld cutter (areas A, B and C).
  4. Remove right taillamp reinforcement.

  5. Expose spot welds (areas D, E, F, G, H and J).
  6. Cut spot welds out with SPECIAL TOOL spot weld cutter (areas D, E, F, G, H and J).
  7. Remove deformed rear section

  8. Remove rear fender front section.
  9. Separate rear outer B-pillar with body saw (dotted line).
  10. Expose spot welds (areas K, L, M, N, O and P).
  11. Cut spot welds out with SPECIAL TOOL spot weld cutter (areas K, L, M, N, O and P).
  12. Remove remaining flange.
  13. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas.

    IMPORTANT Grind spot welding flange down to bare metal on both sides.

  14. Coat insides of rivet and spot welding flange with zinc dust paint.
  15. Drill rivet holes with dia. 6.5 mm bit (area Q).

  16. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas.

    IMPORTANT Grind spot welding flange down to bare metal on both sides.

  17. Coat insides of rivet flange and spot welding flange with zinc dust paint.
