	Remove/install
1	Switch TELE AID to Service mode	With CODE (855) TELE AID This ensures that the additional battery is not discharged and no emergency call signal is transmitted, refer to owner's manual.

	Risk of explosion  caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery acid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
2	Disconnect ground lead from vehicle electrical system battery in trunk and disconnect starter battery in engine compartment	First vehicle electrical system battery and then starter battery.	AR54.10-P-0003R

4	Remove center armrest	Remove/install stowage box	AR68.20-P-2320R
5	Cover fiber optic cable	Do not kink or stretch D2B fiber optic cable. Install covers on fiber optic cable and equipment connectors.	AR82.95-P-0005-01A
6	Decommission fiber optic cable module		AR82.70-P-0004-01A
7	Install in the reverse sequence
8	Carry out start-up and function test
