	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Buffer basic data of audio gateway control unit (N93/1) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When replacing the audio gateway control unit (N93/1). Installation:  Transfer buffered basic data to the new audio gateway control unit (N93/1).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Remove left side paneling in rear		AR68.30-P-4780R
3	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go, press the Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off. Remove the Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter (min. 2 m).
4	Unscrew nuts (1) and remove audio gateway control unit (N93/1) with bracket (2)	Remove audio gateway control unit (N93/1) until electrical connectors (3) and fiber optic cable coupling (4) are accessible.
5	Remove nuts (5) and remove audio gateway control unit (N93/1) from bracket (2)	When installing new audio gateway control unit (N93/1).
6	Disconnect electrical connectors (3) and fiber optic cable coupling (4)	To avoid damaging them, do not kink fiber optic cables, route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm.
7	Cover fiber optic cable connector (4) and equipment connector at audio gateway control unit (N93/1).		AR82.95-P-0005-01A
8	Install in the reverse order
