Disconnect ground line replaced by switch off ignition

Step 2

	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Remove luggage box (1)	Place luggage box with lines connected to one side.	AR68.30-P-7440R
2	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go, press the Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off. Remove the Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter (min. 2 m).
3	Disconnect electrical connector (7) from CD player with changer (A2/6)
4	Disconnect fiber optic cable connector (6) and cover fiber optic cable connector (6) and cover implement connection on fiber optic cable	To avoid damaging the fiber optic cable, do not kink fiber optic cables, route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm.
		Cover fiber optic cable	AR82.95-P-0005-01A
5	Unclip clip (5) and wiring harness from bracket (4)
6	Remove bolts (3) from cover (2) and remove cover (2)
7	Remove CD player with changer (A2/6) from luggage box (1)	Installation:  Insert bracket (4) on outside into guides (8) of luggage box (1).
8	Remove bracket (4) of CD player with changer (A2/6)
9	Install in the reverse order
