	Remove/install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
	When working on the front-end assembly, be careful not to scratch, mark or notch the surfaces of aluminum parts. Otherwise the service life of the parts will be affected
	Notes on AIRmatic		AH32.22-P-1000-02SX
	Only tighten nuts and bolts of chassis components when vehicle is in a ready-to-drive condition.
1	Release pressure in suspension strut (40) completely using STAR DIAGNOSIS	STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system
2	Remove front wheel
	Remove/install wheels		AP40.10-P-4050SX
3	Remove engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105SX
4	Loosen nut (17c)	Do not twist bolt (17a). Always counterhold the bolt (17a) when slackening the nut (17c), otherwise the lock tabs for camber adjustment in the rubber mount (17d) will be sheared off. Installation: Screw nut (17c) of bolt (17a) all the way on until it abuts, but do not tighten yet so that the rubber mount (17d) can twist when the vehicle is rocked to settle the suspension. Do not tighten nut (17c) until in ready-to-drive condition.

5	Open retaining plate (40a) and push upwards
6	Remove bolts (40c) from suspension strut (40)		*BA32.25-P-1002-04L
7	Using a suitable lever, loosen spring strut (40) at ball joint
8	Detach spring control arm (17) from steering knuckle (5)	Support the steering knuckle using the transmission jack. The upper ball joint on the upper transverse control arm will otherwise be damaged. 9	Pull bolt (17a) out of front axle carrier (6)
10	Remove spring control arm (17) downwards
	Checking
11	Check rubber mount (17d) in spring control arm (17) for damage	Replace rubber bushing (17d), if necessary: ↓ Extract/press in rubber mount on spring control arm.	AR33.15-P-0170-02SX
12	Check rubber boots and ball joints in spring control arm (17) for damage	Replace spring control arm (17) if necessary.
13	Install in the reverse order
14	Perform wheel alignment check		AR40.20-P-0200SX
