The following work procedure is shown on the right side of the vehicle. Installation on the left side of the vehicle is performed correspondingly.
- Connect wiring harness (9) to Tablet PC mount control unit (2) and route to right front seat control unit (N32/2).
- Fasten the wiring harness (9) to seat frame using cable ties and strap down excess length of line.
The white 8-pin connector (9.1) and the white 14-pin plug (24) are connected at a later point.
Fix the wiring harness (9) in place at the seat such that adjustment of the seat is possible without limitation. Otherwise shearing off or crushing of the wiring harness (9) may occur.
- Route wiring harness (6) from previously created opening in backrest to Tablet PC control unit (2).
- Connect white 8-pin connector (9.1) to white 8-pin plug (6.1).
- Fasten the wiring harness (6), the white 8-pin plug (6.1) and the white 8-pin coupling (9.1) using a cable tie to the seat frame and strap down any excess line length.
- Route wiring harness (9) with white 14-pin plug (24) to right front seat control unit.
- Disconnect white 14-pin connector (10) of vehicle wiring harness from right front seat control unit.
- Attach white 14-pin plug (24) of wiring harness (9) to previously disconnected white 14-pin connector (10) of vehicle wiring harness.
- Attach white 14-pin connector (25) to the right front seat control unit instead of the white 14-pin connector (10).
- Fasten wiring harness (9) at seat frame using cable ties.
