	Mount/dismantle
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
		The vehicle lift safety devices (1) must always be mounted in pairs (i.e. in two locations) at the longitudinal members of the vehicle. The vehicle lift safety devices (1) can both be mounted at the front or the rear, but may not be fitted to the vehicle at one side or diagonally.
1	Remove covers from vehicle lift supports
2	Remove both front or rear mounting consoles (5)	Model 166 with code (846) Running boards
3	Insert lifting platform safety devices (1) into longitudinal members	Model 164 vehicle lift safety device	Fig 3
		Model 166 vehicle lift safety device	Fig 4
4	Swivel lever (2) of vehicle lift safety devices (1) to the right until lever (2) is secured	Following this, the lifting platform safety devices (1) are locked onto the longitudinal members.
5	Rotate support plate (4) at vehicle lift support arm (3) until it makes contact with the vehicle lift safety devices (1) or with the vehicle lift support of the longitudinal member
6	Raise vehicle with vehicle lift		AR00.60-P-1000GZ
7	Secure vehicle lift safety devices (1) to the vehicle lift support arm (3) using tensioning straps
8	Dismantle in reverse order.
