Brake system - inspect fluid level - AP42.10-P-4210EW

DANGER Risk of poisoning  from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  from skin and eye contact with brake fluid Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid. AS42.50-Z-0001-01A

  Preparatory activity     
1 Open engine hood and raise to vertical position MODEL 204, 207, 212, 218  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR MODEL 204.3, 207, 212
IMPORTANT MODEL 204.3, 207, 212
with CODE U60 (Active Bonnet (Pedestrian protection))
Moving the engine hood to the vertical position: 
Detach left and right clamping levers at the upper left and right hinges.
AR88.40-P-1000EW
INSPECT Check     
2 Check fluid level in expansion reservoir (1) IMPORTANT The fluid level must be between the "Min." and "Max." markings on the expansion reservoir (1).
If the fluid level is too low:

Rectify problem subject to separate repair order.
If the fluid level is too high:

Extract brake fluid until the fluid level is at the "Max." mark.

3 Close engine hood MODEL 204, 207, 212, 218  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR MODEL 204.3, 207, 212
IMPORTANT MODEL 204.3, 207, 212
with CODE U60 (Active Bonnet (Pedestrian protection))
Close engine hood: 
Mount left and right clamping levers at the upper left and right hinges.
