	Removing
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from EIS control unit	On vehicles with code (889) KEYLESS-GO: Press KEYLESS-GO start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).
2	Unscrew bolt for engine hood release (1)
3	Unscrew bolts for cover (2)
4	Lower cover (3)
5	Disconnect electrical connector from front left footwell lamp (E17/16)
6	Unlock electrical connector from data link connector (X11/4), remove
7	Remove air pipe (5) from support (6)	Lay air pipe (5) down in footwell. Do not disconnect electrical connector.
8	Remove cover (3)
	Install
9	Install air pipe (5) on cover (3)
10	Connect electrical connector to data link connector (X11/4)
11	Connect electrical connector to front left footwell lamp (E17/16)
12	Install cover (3)	Ensure that air pipe (5) and bracket (4) are installed properly.
13	Screw in bolt for engine hood release (1)
14	Screw in bolts for cover (2)
