Retrofit iPod wiring harness - AZ82.60-P-0001-02GZ

Only on vehicles with  code 528 COMAND DVD USA (without navigation) or with  code 530 COMAND DVD APS USA (with navigation)

1. 1.1 Remove AUX bushing (11) from glove compartment (9).

   The AUX bushing wiring harness (10) with AUX bushing (11) is no longer required.

   Only on vehicles without  code 528 COMAND DVD USA (without navigation) or without  code 530 COMAND DVD APS USA (with navigation)

2. 1.2 Break side passage (see arrow) out of glove compartment (9) with small flap tip screwdriver.

   The passage is preperforated.

3. 2 Install interface connector (5) on iPod wiring harness (1) through passage into glove compartment (9) and plug with grommet (6).
4. 3 Route wiring harness iPod (1) in the glove compartment (9) as per the picture.
5. 4 Fasten the wiring harness iPod (1) in the glove compartment (9) with two felt strips (17) as per the picture (9).

6. 5 Route interface connector (5) from iPod wiring harness (1) into radio recess and reinstall glove compartment.

   Ensure that the wiring harness iPod (1) is not pinched when installing the glove compartment (9).
