15	Perform retrofit variant coding	For vehicles with code (518) Media interface, delete the media interface special equipment from the vehicle data card and the online vehicle data card, as it is no longer available. Using STAR DIAGNOSIS carry out variant coding for activating the functions. Using XENTRY, manually code vehicles up to production period 30.5.09, to do so set "Customer-specific settings" of Universal Media Interface (UMI) instrument cluster to "installed". Code vehicles as of production period 1.6.09 with software calibration number (SCN); to do so, log on navigation by entering 3-digit code "56o" in instrument cluster. Ensure here that the third digit is the letter "o" for Oscar.
16	Disconnect STAR DIAGNOSIS

17	Run function check on Universal Media Interface	The AUX connection electrical connector that is installed as standard no longer works. It is only possible to display information from the Universal Media Interface via instrument cluster on vehicles with code (442) Comfort multifunction steering wheel.
18	Document retrofitted equipment via vehicle documentation (VeDoc)	Attach "Universal Media Interface retrofitted as per AZ82.85-P-0004CYA " note under field organization text to design group 82.
