Remove/install air suspension control unit - AR32.22-P-6000GZ

MODEL 164 with CODE (489) Airmatic (air suspension with level adjustment and adaptive damping system ADS)

	Remove/install
	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge	All models	AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Read out coding of AIRmatic control unit (N51) using STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnostic system	Only if AIRmatic control unit (N51) is replaced and if it can still be read out using STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnostic system.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnostic system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Remove front floor coverings (1)	Left.	AR68.20-P-2050GZ
3	Undo nuts (2) and remove left intermediate bottom (3)
4	Disconnect electrical connectors (4).
5	Unscrew nuts (5) and remove AIRmatic control unit (N51)
6	Install in the reverse order
7	Code AIRmatic control unit (N51) using STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnostic system	Only when installing a new AIRmatic control unit (N51).

8	Check vehicle level at front and rear axle, adjust it and store normal level  in AIRmatic control unit (N51) again	Only when installing a new AIRmatic control unit (N51).

9	Perform basic programming		AR00.19-P-0200GZ
