Prepare mating surfaces on vehicle - AR64.20-P-1200-32GZ

  1. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal n in shaded areas B, XA, XB, XC, XFA and XM on one side.
  2. Grind mating surfaces in remaining shaded areas on both sides.
  3. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  4. Coat insides of spot welding flange (except areas B, QB, XA, XB, XC, XFA and XFB) with zinc dust paint.

    IMPORTANT Do not remove foam (arrows)!

  5. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal n in shaded areas A and HB on one side.
  6. Grind mating surfaces in remaining shaded areas on both sides.
  7. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  8. Coat insides of spot welding flange (except areas A, HB and L) with zinc dust paint.
