  1. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal (shaded areas B and EB) on one side.
  2. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in remaining areas on both sides.
  3. Remove grinding and cutting chips with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  4. Coat insides of spot welding flange (except areas B, EB and K) with zinc dust paint.
