Location 

The PTS control unit is located below the driver seat.

Task 

The PTS control unit has the following tasks:

Reading in of sensors and signals 

The input factors are read in with the following connections:

Direct line 

The following signals and sensors are read via a direct line:

Interior CAN 

The following signals are read in with interior CAN by the:

by the instrument cluster (A1):

From the front SAM control unit (N10):

By the overhead control panel control unit (N70):

From the upper control panel control unit (N72/1):

by the EZS control unit (N73)

by the central gateway control unit (N93):

From the rear SAM control unit (N10/8)

Evaluation of input factors 

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the affected components are then actuated.

Actuation of components 

Components are actuated with the following lines:

Direct line 

The following components are actuated via a direct line:

Interior CAN 

The following signal is transmitted via interior CAN:
