Removing and installing lower control panel control unit - AR54.21-P-1263GZ

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge All models AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1 Switch off ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS [EZS] control unit IMPORTANT On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).  
2 Disengage instrument panel center part (1) at bottom edge (arrows A) and pull forward out of instrument panel IMPORTANT Protect trim parts of the instrument panel and center console from scratches.  
3 Disconnect electrical connector (2)    
4 Remove screws (3) and remove lower control panel control unit (N72)    
5 Install in the reverse order
