Remove/install upper control panel control unit - AR54.21-P-1262GZ

1 Switch off ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS [EZS] control unit IMPORTANT On vehicles with Keyless Go, code 889: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove transmitter key from vehicle and store it in a location beyond its transmission range (at least 2 m).  
2 Disengage instrument panel center part (1) at bottom edge (arrows A) and pull forward out of instrument panel IMPORTANT Protect trim parts of the instrument panel and center console from scratches.  
3 Separate electrical connectors (3)    
4 Remove screws (4)    
5 Slacken screws (2) and remove upper control panel control unit (N72/1) IMPORTANT Only slacken the screws (2) (do not remove them fully).  
6 Install in the reverse order
