Function 

The control buttons on the COMAND operating, display and controller unit are read in and made available for the integrated central computer.

The button operations are processed further in the central computer and transferred to other system components as a message via MOST or the interior CAN.

If the "ON" button on the COMAND operating, display and controller unit is pressed, the COMAND operating, display and controller unit is switched on or off. The volume is regulated by rotating the volume control for the relevant selected audio source. The user can switch to the required system component by pressing the menu buttons.

Single-slot DVD drive, with code (527) COMAND APS with single DVD drive (with navigation) 

The integrated single-slot DVD drive can be used to play audio or video CDs and DVDs (including in MP3 format).

6-disk DVD changer, with code (528) COMAND with DVD changer or with code (512) COMAND APS with DVD changer
