3	Switch off all consumers	Remove transmitter/ignition key. Switch off stationary heater. Switch off car phone. Switch off radio. Switch off interior protection. Switch off vanity mirror Switch off reading light. Turn rotary light switch to "0" position. Close doors, the interior illumination must go out automatically after a few seconds. With Comand: Remove CD-ROM from Comand, switch off Comand.

4	Check whether auxiliary water pump is operating	Carefully touch coolant hose or additional water pump Auxiliary water pump operating: ↓, Do not commence quiescent current test until pump has switched off.
