	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	AS91.00-Z-0001-01A

3	Remove nut (1) of front seat belt guide bracket		*BA91.40-P-1002-01C
4	Remove bolt (2) from front automatic belt retractor (3)		*BA91.40-P-1004-01C
5	Disconnect electrical connector of driver emergency tensioning retractor squib (R12/1) or front passenger emergency tensioning retractor squib (R12/2)

6	Remove automatic belt retractor (3)	On no account should oil or grease be used to help eliminate noise. Otherwise the function may be impaired. Automatic belt retractors (3) that have been opened are no longer under warranty. Noises at inertia reel during belt retraction are caused by operation. The only available response to negative customer feedback regarding unacceptable noise levels is to replace the seat belt assembly in its entirety.
		If the seat belt with emergency tensioning retractor is replaced, the defective seat belt with the emergency tensioning retractor must be disposed of properly:
