	Removing/installing
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.	When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Open engine hood		AR88.40-P-1000TX
2	Remove the front engine cover (1)	Removal:  Detach front engine cover (1) on both sides on air filter housing (2) and pull on bracket upwards.
3	Remove engine intake air ducts (3)	On left and right.
4	Remove air cleaner housing (2)	Removal:  When removing the air cleaner housing (2) make sure that the intake line (6) is not twisted. In case of improper removal of the air cleaner housing (2), the steel ring in the intake line (6) can deform itself and loosen in engine mode. Removal:  Carefully lift air cleaner housing (2) and remove crankcase bleed hose (4) from fitting (5) on intake line (6). Ensure that the catch (7) of the intake line (6) does not break off when fitting onto the throttle valve actuator (M16/6). The broken off catch (7) can be suctioned by the engine and this causes an engine damage. Moisten sealing ring, throttle valve actuator (M16/6) and retaining rubbers with sliding compound.
