Removing and installing lower control panel control unit - AR54.21-P-1263TX

MODEL 219.3 with CODE (219) Distronic (DTR) with CODE (220) Parktronic System (PTS) with CODE (228) Stationary heater with CODE (489) Airmatic (semi-active air suspension)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/Install     
1 Remove cover (1) on center console   AR68.20-P-2350TX
2 Unclip right switch block (2) of lower control panel control unit (N72) from the cover (1) On vehicles with code (228) stationary heater
IMPORTANT The STH switch (N72s12) is located in the right switch block (2).
 
3 Unclip left switch block (3) of lower control panel control unit (N72) from the cover (1) On vehicles with code (219) Distronic (DTR)
IMPORTANT The DTR switch (N72s9) and DTR distance potentiometer (N72r1) are located in the left switch block.
 
4 Remove bolts (4)    
5 Remove rear switch block (5) of the lower control panel control unit (N72) together with the right switch block (2) and left switch block (3) from the cover (1) On vehicles with code (489) Airmatic (semi- active air suspension) or code (220) Parktronic System (PTS)
IMPORTANT The PTS OFF switch (N72s13), level adjustment switch (N72s18) and comfort and sport switch (N72s25) is located in the rear switch block (5)
 
6 Install in the reverse order
