	Removing
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

1	Secure vehicle on the lifting platform		AR00.60-P-0100TX
2	Remove rear-axle shaft (37)	While working on the rear axle care must be taken to ensure that the surface of aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the of the parts will be reduced.	AR35.30-P-0620TX
3	Lever radial sealing ring (32a) out of rear axle differential (50) using a suitable tool	To ensure leaktightness and proper seating, do not damage the seat surface of the radial sealing ring (32a).	AR35.31-P-0540-05T
	Install
4	Using a drift (03) press a new radial sealing ring (32a) into the rear axle center assembly (50)	Coat lip of radial sealing ring (32a) with universal hypoid gear oil. Rear axle center assembly dia. 198 mm:

5	Install new circlip (37o) on inner splined shaft of rear axle shaft (37)
6	Install rear axle shaft (37).	While working on the rear axle care must be taken to ensure that the surface of aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the of the parts will be reduced.	AR35.30-P-0620TX
	Check
7	Check oil level in rear axle center assembly (50) and correct if necessary	In order to avoid damage to the rear axle center assembly (50), it is absolutely essential to follow the work procedure and the Specifications for Operating Fluids. In the interest of better fuel economy, avoid mixing old universal hypoid gear oil with new FE hypoid gear oil.	AR35.31-P-0520-03TX
