	Remove/install
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Turn key in ignition lock to position "0"
2	Remove air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1150TS
3	Disconnect electrical connectors (1a, 1b)
4	Remove jack for electrical connector (1b) on fuel distributor (2)	Install new cable ties.
5	Disconnect right connector (R) at ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10)
6	Detach ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) from right control unit bracket (3a) and from left control unit bracket (3b) and lay to one side	Do not disconnect left connector (L) at ME- SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).
7	Remove right control unit bracket (3a)		*BA07.08-P-1002-01A
8	Detach feed duct (4a) from cylinder head cover, intake manifold and rear right engine suspension lug		*BA15.18-P-1001-01B

9	Detach feed duct (4b) from intake manifold		*BA15.18-P-1001-01B
10	Remove feed duct (4c) from cylinder head cover		*BA15.18-P-1002-01B
11	Detach rear left engine lifting eye (5) from cylinder head		*BA01.30-P-1005-01O
12	Disconnect hoses (6a, 6b) from crankcase ventilation system
13	Disconnect electrical connectors at fuel injection valves (Y62)
14	Reduce fuel pressure via service valve (2a)		AR07.03-P-1460-01VA

15	Disconnect fuel line (7) from fuel distributor (2)	Catch escaping fuel with an absorbent rag. Seal connections immediately with stop plugs.

16	Remove bolts (2b) and take off fuel distributor (2) with fuel injection valves (Y62)	Replace O-rings of the fuel injection valves (Y62). Apply lubricant paste O-rings.

17	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
18	Carry out an engine test run and check fuel system for leaks
