| 1 | Move the front passenger seat into the rearmost position | ||
| 2 | Remove floor mat and fold back floor covering (1) in front passenger footwell | ||
| 3 | Unscrew plastic nuts (3) and tilt step plate (4) in the direction of the arrow | ||
| 4 | Disconnect electrical connectors (5) | ||
| 5 | Remove bolts (2) | *BA32.22-P-1007-03D | |
| 6 | Remove control unit (N51) | ||
| 7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 8 | Perform control unit adaptations using STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory and erase if necessary | When replacing the control unit (N51) | |
