Location
The left front body acceleration sensor and right front body acceleration sensor are installed on the respective shock absorber tower of the front axle.
The left rear body acceleration sensor is installed on the left rear wheel well.
Task
The body acceleration sensors are used for measuring the vertical acceleration of the vehicle body. They record the vehicle acceleration of the body and transfer the signals to the adaptive damping system control unit (N51/5).
