Remove/install front rubber mount in rear axle mount - AR35.10-P-0040-02CW

Removing 

Always replace rubber mounts (2) in pairs. The following tools from the removal and installation tool are required for removing the rubber mounts (2):

thrust piece (07)204 589 00 43 07,

counterholder (08) 204 589 00 43 08,

spindle (011) 204 589 00 43 11 and

sleeve (012)204 589 00 43 12

1. Mark the installation position of the respective rubber mount (2) at the cutout (arrow).

   The cutout is visible from above when the rear axle carrier (4) is lowered and faces towards the rear of the vehicle.

2. Attach thrust piece (07), counterholder (08), spindle (011) and sleeve (012) with hollow cylinder (015) and retaining belt (014) to rubber mount (2).

3. Connect hand pump by means of hydraulic hose (013) on hollow cylinder (015).
4. Press out rear rubber mounts (2) from rear axle carrier (4)

   Install 

   The following tools from the removal and installation tool are required for removing the rubber mounts (2):

   thrust piece (09)204 589 00 43 09,

   counterholder (010) 204 589 00 43 10,

   spindle (011) 204 589 00 43 11 and

   Sleeve (012)204 589 00 43 12

5. Coat new rubber mounts (2) with antifriction agent.
6. Attach thrust piece (09), counterholder (010), spindle (011) and sleeve (012) with hollow cylinder (015) and retaining belt (014) to rubber mount (2).
7. Press rubber bushing (2) into rear axle carrier (4)
