| 2 | Detach cover of spring control arm (2) | ||
| 3 | Risk of injury caused by pinching or crushing when working on springs or spring bodies that are under tension Tension rear spring (1) |

| 4 | Remove required components of exhaust system | AR49.10-P-7100CW | |
| 5 | Remove shock absorber from spring control arm (2) | AR32.25-P-0110CW | |
| 6 | Detach link rod for torsion bar from spring control arm (2) | AR32.20-P-0315CW | |
| 7 | Detach spring control arm (2) from rear axle carrier | Support spring control arm to prevent the spring from dropping down. Check height adjustment at top of spring Check rubber boot at top of spring cup for damage. Replace as required. Check zinc shim for damage. Replace as required. |
