	Remove/install
1	Move both front seats forwards
2	Pull rear seat cushion (1) upwards out of the guide sleeves (arrows A)	For vehicles without code (248) Rear seat with integrated child seat In model 212 with code (864) Rear entertainment system, catch the rear seat cushion (1) when pulling so that the DVD player is not damaged.
3	Extend child seat cushions (4)	For vehicles with code (248) Rear seat with integrated child seat
4	Remove left and right footrests (5)	For vehicles with code (248) Rear seat with integrated child seat At the marks (arrows B) on the footrests (5) insert a suitable screwdriver, alternately push back the catch hooks (arrows C), then remove the footrests (5) horizontally from the seat frame (7). Insert guides (arrows D) of footrests (5) into the cutouts (arrows E) of the seat frame (7).
5	Remove bolts (6) on left and right seat frame (7) of rear seat cushion (1)	For vehicles with code (248) Rear seat with integrated child seat

6	Remove DVD player paneling	Model 212 with code (864) Rear entertainment system	AR82.60-P-7505-01EW
7	Push rear seat cushion (1) far enough back to enable the retaining brackets on the bottom of the rear seat cushion (1) to be extended from the mounts (2)	Check for correct seating of retaining brackets in mounts (2).
8	Guide rear seat cushion (1) forward and disconnect left and right rear seat heater, heater pad electrical connectors (X54/11)	Model 212 with code (872) Electric seat heater for left and right rear seat
9	Remove rear seat cushion (1)	Remove rear seat cushion (1) from the vehicle carefully, to avoid damage to components in the vehicle interior or on the rear doors. Installation:  Pay attention to routing and attachment of electrical wiring harness (3) in front of mounts (2), otherwise electrical wiring harness (3) is damaged. Pay attention to position of center seat belt buckle.
10	Install in the reverse order
