Installing control unit - AZ54.65-P-0001-04CW

  1. Lay the control unit in the right front footwell and contact with the connector of the GPS-antenna (9).

  2. Connect coupling of control unit input (19) and coupling of control unit output (20) with the control unit in the right front footwell.

    IMPORTANT The coupling of the control unit input (19) and coupling of the control unit output (20) are coded mechanically and are color coded.

  3. Contact the wiring harness (1) with the coupling (4) and control unit (7) in the right front footwell.

    IMPORTANT The coupling (4) and connector on control unit (7) are color coded.

  4. Contact wiring harness (12) with coupling (13) and control unit (7) in right front footwell.

    IMPORTANT The coupling (13) and connector on control unit (7) are color coded.

  5. Secure control unit (7) with self-adhesive felt on the transmission tunnel.

    IMPORTANT The control unit (7) must be fixed in place so that vibrations and damage are ruled out. This must not adversely affect the removal/installation of adjacent components.

  6. Remove damping material on the transmission tunnel in the area of the control unit (see arrow in picture). Strap down excess lengths of wiring harnesses and fix in place.

  7. Remove foam damping material on the right front floor covering (23) in the area of the contact surface on the control unit using a suitable tool.

IMPORTANT Ensure that the outside of the floor covering is not damaged.
