	Remove/install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
	Brake fluid notes		AH42.50-P-0001-01A
1	Open engine hood	Model 204
		Model 207	AR88.40-P-1000EW
2	Suction off brake fluid from expansion reservoir	Vehicles with manual transmission
		Suction off until the connection of the connector hose (1).
3	Detach connector hose (1) from expansion reservoir	Vehicles with manual transmission
4	Remove left cover below dashboard
5	Separate electrical connector (2) and remove cover (3)
6	Unscrew locking bolt (4b) and remove brake pedal from clevis (4)	Installation  : Safety screw (4b) must  be replaced.
			*BA43.10-P-1002-01J
7	Unscrew nuts (5).		*BA29.10-P-1001-02G
8	Pull out securing clamp (6a) and remove hydraulic line (6b) from master cylinder (6)	Vehicles with manual transmission
		Avoid brake fluid and contamination in the interior otherwise parts in the interior will become damaged.
		Seal hydraulic line (6b) with stop plugs.

9	Disconnect electrical connector (7) on switch (S40/3)	Vehicles with manual transmission
10	Disconnect electrical connector at switch (S40/5)	Vehicles with manual transmission with code (494) USA version
11	Remove pedal assembly (8)
12	Install in the reverse order
13	Bleed clutch operating system	Vehicles with manual transmission
		Model 204	AR25.20-P-0070CW
		Model 207	AR25 20-P-0070CWA
14	Check master cylinder (6) for proper operation and leaktightness	Vehicles with manual transmission
