	Remove/install
	Risk of injury caused by fingers being pinched or crushed when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, liftgates or sliding roof	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Wind crank window fully down	Model 204, model 212 without code (Z04) Light armoring
2	Loosen window frame paneling (2) with assembly wedge (12) until expansion clip (3) is accessible.	On model 212 without code (Z04) Light armoring, lift window frame paneling (2) with assembly wedge (12) starting at top of corner of window frame and pull window frame paneling (2) upward until expansion clip (3) is accessible instead of positioning assembly wedge (12) as shown. 3	Remove expansion clip (3).	On model 212 without code (Z04) Light armoring, pull pin (4) out of expansion clip (3) with suitable pliers. Then turn pin (4) 90° and press into expansion clip (3) until it arrests. Then hold expansion clip (3) with pliers on pin (4) and pull out of door lining (1).
		Installation: On model 212 without code (Z04) Light armoring, unlock pin (4) and pull out expansion clip (3). Then turn pin (4) 90° and reinstall expansion clip (3). Insert expansion clip (3) into door lining (1) and press in pin (4).
4.1	Remove bolts (5)	Model 204
4.2	Unclip cover (13) with assembly wedge (12) and unscrew bolts (14)	Model 212	Fig 3
5	Remove mirror triangle cover	MODEL 212 with CODE (Z04) Light armoring
6	Unclip door lining on mounting clips (6) from front door (7).	Move mounting wedge (12) directly to fastening clips (6) and ensure that the retaining tabs on the fastening clip (6) do not tear out of the door lining (1).	Fig 3
7	Horizontally loosen door lining (1) to side from front door (7). Guide lock button (8) out of door lining (1).	Loosen door lining (1) from front door (7) until electrical connectors (10) on left front door control unit (N69/1) or right front door control unit (N69/2) and inside door opener Bowden cable (9) are accessible. Installation : Ensure that door lining (1) is seated correctly in inner sealing frame.
8		Disconnect electrical connectors (10) from left front door control unit (N69/1) or right front door control unit (N69/2) Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge	AH54.00-P-0001-01A
9	Unhook inside door opener Bowden cable (9) from inner door handle (11).
10	Disconnect electrical connector on left front door sound system bass speaker or right front door sound system medium frequency and bass speaker.	Model 212 with code (810) Sound system
11.1	Remove door lining (1)	Model 204, model 212 with code (Z04) Light armoring
11.2	Remove door lining (1)	Only on model 212 without code (Z04) Light armoring Installation : Screw in bolts (14) only to stop, because it may be necessary to check or adjust the door lining in relation to the instrument panel after installing the door lining (1). Refer to: Check adjustment of door lining in relation to instrument panel, adjust	AR72.10-P-1000-02EW
12	Install in the reverse order
