Location

The left front door control unit is located on the door module behind the door lining.

Task

The left front door control unit has the following tasks:

Reading in of sensors, pickups and signals

The input factors are read in via the following connections:

Direct line

The signals from the following components are read via a direct line:

Infrared remote control receiver, driver-side front door (A26/1)
Left front door rotary tumbler switch (A85s1)
Hall sensor for left front door power window motor (M10/3)
In addition with code (275) Memory function (driver seat, steering column, outside mirrors):
Vertical inclination adjustment potentiometer (M21/1r2)
Horizontal inclination adjustment potentiometer (M21/1r3)
Trunk lid unlock button (S15/1) (on model 204.0/3)
Left front door central locking inside door handle switch (S85/5) with following components:
Open central locking switch (S85/5s1)
Close central locking switch (S85/5s2)

Left door LIN

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.
