Install panoramic roof frame - AR77.21-P-0800-04CW

NOTES Install panoramic roof frame (1) within 5 minutes after applying glue to body and align before adhesive force of glue starts to decrease.

IMPORTANT Immediately and carefully remove soiling caused by adhesive.

  1. Position panoramic roof frame (1) above roof cutout with aid of three helpers, carefully lay onto adhesive bead and lightly press on.

  2. SPECIAL TOOL Insert feeler gauges adjusted to gap dimension (A) determined before removal between panoramic roof frame (1) and windshield (2).
  3. Align panoramic roof frame (1) in relation to windshield (2) and in center between side roof paneling (3).
  4. Place suitable loads on panoramic roof frame (1) during curing time of adhesive.

    NOTES Use weights with large surface, e.g. sandbags, otherwise the panoramic roof frame (1) can be damaged.

  5. Carefully remove cup suction tool.
