1	Heat old foils and remove	Heat foils only to the extent that they can still be touched; otherwise, the paint could be damaged.
2	Clean vehicle	Dry wet vehicles with chamois.
3	Check paint surfaces of vehicle	When replacing foil, the edges of the adhesive tape may remain visible. These edges are removed when preparing the paint. Minor swelling is of no significance when replacing. The new foil can be applied to this painted surface.
4	Install new transport foil by hand	Do not mask off plastic parts and rubber profiles with foil (danger of glue residues).
