Location 

The KEYLESS GO door handles are located on the corresponding outer door handle.

Design 

Four sensors are integrated into the KEYLESS GO door handle:

• Inner capacitive sensor
• Outer capacitive sensor
• Hall sensor
• Convenience sensor

Task 

• The inner capacitive sensors recognize when the KEYLESS GO door handle (vehicle open request) is gripped.
• The outer capacitive sensors recognize when the KEYLESS GO door handle (vehicle lock request) is touched.
• The Hall sensors recognize when the KEYLESS GO door handle (opening assist request or waking up KEYLESS GO system) is pulled.
• The convenience sensor actuates the convenience closing operation as long as it is touched.

The KEYLESS GO door handles are directly read in by the KEYLESS GO control unit (N69/5).
