Location
The KEYLESS GO door handles are located on the corresponding outer door handle.
Design
Four sensors are integrated into the KEYLESS GO door handle:
- Inner capacitive sensor
- Outer capacitive sensor
- Hall sensor
- Convenience sensor
Task
- The inner capacitive sensors recognize when the KEYLESS GO door handle (vehicle open request) is gripped.
- The outer capacitive sensors recognize when the KEYLESS GO door handle (vehicle lock request) is touched.
- The Hall sensors recognize when the KEYLESS GO door handle (opening assist request or waking up KEYLESS GO system) is pulled.
- The convenience sensor actuates the convenience closing operation as long as it is touched.
The KEYLESS GO door handles are directly read in by the KEYLESS GO control unit (N69/5).
