Location
The interior protection and tow-away protection control unit is installed on the overhead control panel, which is located in the front area of the vehicle headliner.
Task
The interior protection and tow-away protection control unit monitors motion in the interior compartment. If the interior protection and tow-away protection control unit recognizes an alarm-relevant motion in the interior compartment, this data is transmitted to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) with rear SAM-LIN for alarm actuation.
