Door lock, component description - GF80.20-P-4124CW

Location 

The door locks are installed in the corresponding door.

Design 

The following components are installed in the left front door lock:

The following components are installed in the right front door lock:

The following components are installed in the left rear door lock:

The following components are installed in the right rear door lock:

Task 

The door status is recognized via the rotary tumbler switch.

The doors are locked/unlocked via the central locking motors when opening/closing the central locking (CL)

The corresponding door is opened mechanically with the motor opening assist.

Opening a door from the inside is prevented via the additional door lock actuator motors when the vehicle is locked.

N69/1 The left front door control unit reads in the

The right front door control unit (N69/2) reads in the

On vehicles without GREAT BRITAIN ONLY , the rear door central locking motors are actuated by the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).

However, the rear door rotary tumbler switch is read in by the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).

On GREAT BRITAIN ONLY vehicles, the left rear door central locking motor and left rear additional door lock actuator motor are actuated by the left rear door control unit (N69/3) and the right rear door central locking motor and right rear additional door lock actuator motor by the right rear door control unit (N69/4).

On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go, the opening assist motor is actuated by the KEYLESS GO control unit (N69/5).
