Install wiring harness of additional fan for COMAND - AN82.85-P-0005-02EC

Wrap felt tape (3) around wiring harness for COMAND fan motor (1).
Join the white 4-pin connector (2) of the COMAND fan motor wiring harness (1) and the white
4-pin plug (5) of the COMAND fan motor M4/13) to the electrical connector for the radio fan (X120).
Route wiring harness for COMAND fan motor (1), as shown, from the radio fan electrical connector (X120) to black, 42-pin connector (4) of the COMAND controller unit.

Remove black 12-pin connector (6) from black, 42-pin connector (4).
Remove insert (7) from black 12-pin connector (6).
Install electrical lines (8) of installed COMAND fan motor wiring harness into insert (7).
Assignment:

Contact cavity 1 = gray/yellow line

Contact cavity 2 = brown/yellow line

Contact cavity 7 = gray line

Contact cavity 8 = red/yellow line

Install insert (7) into black, 12-pin connector (6).
Install black 12-pin connector (6) onto black, 42-pin connector (4).
